Scott Barlow

CEO

As the CEO of EML, Scott focuses on leveraging EML’s engineering and technical expertise to serve its commercial and government clients emphasizing strong execution and customer satisfaction. Scott is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and its 350+ team members throughout the United States.

Since founding EML in 1997, Scott has helped drive and execute the company’s long-term strategies, technical programs, and customer-focused culture. His leadership has led EML from a regional calibration laboratory to national provider. He has successfully managed many of the company’s strategies including the shift to facility support services where EML is now recognized as an industry leader.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical and electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Steve Rash

VP of Operations

Steve serves as the Vice President of Operations at EML, where he is directly responsible for overseeing the management of all government contracts. With a strong background in management and construction, Steve has successfully managed numerous GSA contracts, ensuring seamless execution and compliance. Since joining EML in 2008, he has become an integral part of the company’s operations, consistently focusing on delivering high-quality results while fostering meaningful client relationships.

Steve is deeply committed to mentoring his team, empowering them to excel, and building strong partnerships with clients to drive long-term success. His leadership philosophy is grounded in the belief that quality work done upfront saves time and effort in the long run.

Jason Powell

VP of Sales

Jason is responsible for the growth of EML through capturing new business, developing strategic partnerships, maintaining current customer relationships, overseeing EML calibration efforts and pursing other industries of interest.

Joining EML in 2019, Jason brings over 38 years of general and sales management including healthcare, retail, and industrial distribution worldwide. He has held many managerial roles in retail and manufacturing with notable companies including Amazon, Walmart, VF Corp, HCA, Mercy Health and the VA. His success has been attributed to his ability to exceed his customers’ expectations; after all, they are not buying our product or service, they are buying the end result.

Steve Stalker

Director of Human Resources

A 26-year Army Veteran with multiple assignments and combat deployments, Steve joined EML in 2019. He served as the Personnel Officer for 13 years with Special Forces Command at Fort Campbell, Kentucky before retiring. Steve began his civilian career as a Human Resources Director for a Fortune 500 company where he provided HR support to over 1250 employees. Steve’s leadership and knowledge are invaluable to our current customers. His expertise in recruiting, employee training and document management has aided and assisted our project managers navigating onsite HR issues while maintaining the workforce and fulfilling corporate responsibilities.

Kyle Wiedmer

Director of Business Development

Kyle has served as the Director of Business Development at EML since 2003. In this role, Kyle leads a dedicated team of business development professionals, overseeing the development of competitive proposals and securing new contracts across a range of federal agencies. His expertise has been instrumental in EML’s success in procuring work with a wide range of federal clients, including the General Services Administration (GSA), U.S. Navy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and the Architect of the Capitol.

Kyle holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University. His technical background and strategic mindset enable him to identify opportunities, build relationships, and deliver solutions tailored to client needs.

With over two decades of experience, Kyle is committed to identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering strategic solutions that align with EML’s mission. His leadership and track record of success have helped position EML as a trusted partner in delivering high-quality services to federal clients.
